Chambers,

Supreme Court, Hongkong,

2nd. March, 1908.

On looking through the somewhat voluminous

notes which I had prepared for my letter to Your Excellency of

29th. February on the subject of the appointment of a Third

Judge, I find that one page was omitted, and therefore one of

Your Excellency's questions remains unanswered. I have the

honour to enclose a further paragraph to be added to paragraph

12 of my letter.

Els Excellency

Sir Frederick Lugard, K.C.M.G., Governor of Hongkong.

I have etc.,

(sd.) F. T. Piggott,

Chief Justice.
